Hot Springs has something for everyone! In it's early days, people came from all over the County for the health benefits of the many springs and bath houses. Today it is still a destination for the rejuvinating waters where guests can be pampered at the Red Rock River Resort, The Springs Bath House, Evans Plunge for more family oriented fun or Cascade Springs for a more natural, private experience. Other attractions include the Wild Horse Sanctuary, The Mammoth Site, and Wind Cave just to name a few.
When you drive thru town, folks wave, even if they don't know you. Our crime rate is low and most evenings you can find people of all ages out enjoying Fall River as it meanders along the Freedom Trail, thru the heart of town, at a sports event at Butler Park or enjoying an out door concert at the bandshell. Throughout the Summer you will find friends and families picnicing and swimming in Fall River, Cascade Falls, Cold Brook Reseviour, or Angostura State Park for the best boating and fishing in the Southern Hills. It is a great place to raise a family or retire!
We pride ourselves in being a "Veteran's Community" with The Hot Springs Veterans Affairs Hospital and The State Veterans Home which serve Veterans throughout the Region. We are also the County Seat.
Hot Springs continues to grow. We are proud of our beautiful, new library, our world class ,18 hole, Southern Hills Golf Couse, the new Pine Hills Assisted Living Facility and coming in 2009, our new state of the art Hospital!
